Badger - Nominated for Best Short Fiction 2026

Happy New Year!

I'm really excited to share that I'm bringing my very first nomination into the new year! 2025 was truly a hectic year, and with big changes coming in 2026, I'm not quite sure where my writing will go.

So I just wanted to take a moment to be grateful. I published 4 new stories in 2025, which isn't much– but ten years ago, I would have thought it completely ludicrous to think anyone would want to read any of my words. I don't take it for granted that there are still people invested in human stories, and I'm just so thankful to be a part of the very human practice of storytelling, even in a small way.

Can't wait to see what 2026 has in store! Sharp rocks at the bottom?
